A Texas-based waste management company, "Dedicated to Honesty & Excellence," needed a logo and marketing system that could keep up with rapid fleet and account growth.
A Texas-based company providing nationwide waste management services, with a long history built on the slogan "Dedicated to Honesty & Excellence."
Fast growth exposed a logo that wasn't up to par, plus a rapidly expanding fleet with multiple assets in need of branding.
We designed and implemented a new logo — true to the original but more readable and functional for the B2B and B2G space it competes in.
The client is a privately owned, full-service environmental contracting and management firm operating nationwide, handling everything from drum management and lab packing to soil excavation and decontamination of industrial and process equipment — a "one-stop shop" for essentially any waste management need a customer might have.
Rapid growth and fast fleet and asset expansion called for both a new and more functional logo — the existing globe mark had fonts inside it that were far too small to read on a fleet vehicle at a distance.
New marketing initiatives were also needed to reach targeted industry verticals, along with new safety and regulatory signage, graphics, and staff outfitting for the expanding fleet and warehouses — both to meet regulatory standards and to present a professional appearance for B2B and B2G clients.
The client already had strong brand recognition, and most clients were already familiar with the globe mark — so we kept it for brand consistency and to take advantage of the recognition already built. We darkened the globe and moved the text outside it into a larger, more readable font, capitalizing on the space available on fleet assets with both vertical and horizontal layouts depending on use. The original rounded font gave the logo a comical look; we replaced it with a bolder sans-serif that matched the serious, professional nature of the work.
Growth also meant more drivers needed a durable, economical work shirt given the heavy wash-and-wear the garments would see. We used tees with a large branded logo on the back and a small left-chest logo for quick identification — and simplified the back logo to keep decoration costs down.
The client also wanted a stronger tradeshow presence, so we produced marketing materials to support both tradeshow environments and a new sponsorship initiative — company-branded team participation in canoeing, biking, and strongman competitions.
Designed, printed, manufactured, and installed all under one roof — saving the client the hours and markups that come with sourcing print shops, sign shops, and outfitting separately. Icons shown for now; real project photos to come.
